Bitsa Team was crowned as the champions of the M50 age category, after finishing the ESBA Championship in Porec without a single defeat. The Russian team from Kursk got the better of Parnu in the final of the age group, winning the game 79-38.
Sergii Demurin had a game-high 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Sergey Ivanov chipped in with 15 points seven rebounds and nine assists, while Mikhail Borisov chipped in with 14 points.
For Parnu, Mait Kabin was the only player in double figures with 15 points.
Bitsa Team won all four games in the round robin stage and qualified to the final as the number one seed, while Parnu entered the decisive game having gone 3-1 in the group stage.
Sergey Ivanov, who led the M50 category in efficiency, received the MVP award.
