3×3 Open in the frames of Championship Poreč’16!
Dates:
June 12-14, 2016.
Venue:
Žatika Sports Centre – 4 fields
Age categories:
Women: 40+
Men: 40+, 50+ and 60+
Mix: 50+ (2 ladies and 2 men per team; 2 men, 1 lady in the court)
Program of 3×3:
June 12, Sunday:
– Opening Ceremony (Championship & 3×3) – Zatika
June 13, Monday:
– 3×3 games from 10 a.m. in Zatika
– Free throws contest for the participants of 3×3*
June 14, Tuesday:
– 3×3 games from 10 a.m. in Zatika
– Award Ceremony after the games
– Open-air Party in “Zatika bar”! (Championship & 3×3)
Participation fee:
– For a team (4 persons) a team Participation Fee is set at 80 EUR.
- Teams that participate in full-time basketball activities in Poreč ’16 can delegate one team for the Poreč’16 3X3 Open free of charge, providing they have used Championship Packages
- Any new player, who doesn’t buy the Championship Package, has to pay 20 EUR
The payment includes:
– Participation in the Opening ceremony
– Organization costs of the 3×3 basketball tournament (Žatika Sports Centre, time-keepers, referees, water)
– * Free throws contest (planned, depends on time limitation)
– Prizes for the 1st-3rd places
– Entrance to Open-air Party in “Zatika bar”!
3×3 Rules of the Game in PDF
Rules for Free throws contest:
Contestants queue up behind the free-throw line; the first person in the queue shoots.
If they score, the contestant goes to the back of the queue.
If they miss, then contestant is eliminated.
Winner is the last contestant on court.
