All participants of the Spalding Three-Point Contest and the Free-Throw Shooting Competition at the ESBA Championship in Poreč are now clear after the deadline for registration passed. Both shooting competitions will take place on Friday, June 17 at the Žatika Sports Center.

The Spalding Three-Point Contest will be divided into five different age groups. Women will compete in two different subcategories – W40 and W50, while there will be three different subcategories for men – M40, M50 and M60.

The allotted time to complete all five racks will be 1 minute 20 seconds for all categories, except M60. The participants of the aforementioned category will have a limit of 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Each rack will contain five balls, with the first four balls in each rack worth one point each. The final ball in each rack, the so-called money ball, will be worth two points.

In addition to the three-point shooting contest, ESBA will be organizing a Free-Throw Shooting Competition for the participants in the M70 age category. Each player will attempt 10 shots from the free-throw line, with the two best scores advancing to the final.
