Carpathian Bears 63-105 Musson

Musson registered their third win in as many days, downing Carpathian Bears 105-63.

Sergiy Tsymbal led the game in points and rebounds with 27 and 13 respectively for Musson. Serhii Savin added a double-double of 23 points and 10 assists. Igor Gulin was 10-of-12 from the field for 20 points and also grabbed seven boards.

Oleksandr Zakrevsky finished the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Sergii Felbaba chipped in with 16 points, but it didn’t save the Ukrainian team from their third loss.

Victoria Residences 85-68 Baltic Virtuozo

Evtim Banev had a monster performance of 35 points and nine rebounds, as Victoria Residences registered their first win of the tournament by beating Baltic Virtuozo 85-68.

Baltic Virtuozo, like the Bulgarian side, are now 1-2.

Radostin Ivanov scored 17 points for the winners, while Delcho Melev added 16.

For Baltic Virtuozo, Mait Kabin collected 26 points, Andris Liepins scored 13 points, with Ivar Bank chipping in with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Small Planet 85-57 Project 44

Small Planet kept their clean record on Tuesday, taking an easy victory against Project 44. The Lithuanian team registered an easy 86-57 win, despite allowing opponents to win the final quarter by 14 points.

Egidijus Mikalajunas led the winners with 18 points and 14 rebounds, Rolandas Matulis scored 13 points and grabbed six boards, while Virginijus Sirvydis contributed with 11.

Alexander Kuznetsov was the top scorer for Project 44. Leonid Michurin added 13.

Perlas 75-54 Krivbass Tonus Veteran UA

Arvydas Venclovas was the key man for Perlas once again, leading his side to the second win at the championship. The Lithuanians defeated Krivbass Tonus Veteran UA 75-54 to move to a 2-0 record, while the Ukrainians dropped to 0-2.

Venclovas collected 29 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the winners. Saulius Kriksciunas scored 18 points, while Eugenijus Kaziliunas chipped in with 10.

Andriy Berezhynskyy scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Krivbass. Pavlo Storozhenko added 14 points.

Interwood-Project 44 49-65 Dinamo

Dinamo improved to a 2-1 record with a 65-49 victory against Interwood-Project 44, with Valerii Sirotiuk posting a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds and leading the way.

Aleksei Ugriumov scored 11 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out five assists, while Aleksandr Zorin and Vladimir Akinin scoring 10 points each.

For Project 44, Vladimir Fidii was the top man with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Aleksei Sukharev added 11 points.

Izmir Veterans 63-69 Auto-Queen

Auto-Queen registered their second win a row, defeating Izmir Veterans 69-63 after a close battle. The Russian team from Nizhnevartovsk now has a 2-1 record. Meanwhile, Izmir suffered their first defeat and are now 1-1.

Alexander Shirshov and Oleg Molekhov had 13 points each for Auto-Queen, while Igor Krylov added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Mustafa Bicakci had a team-high 29 points and 6 rebounds for Izmir, while Mustafa Battalgazi chipped in with 12 points and nine boards.

Salilita 77-47 Team Hamburg

Salilita moved to 2-0in the standings after taking an easy 77-47 victory against Team Hamburg, for whom it was already the third loss in as many games.

Rolandas Penikas was the leading scorer for Salilita once again with 21 points to go along an impressive line of 10 rebounds and five assists. Vytenis Urba scored 12 points and grabbed 12 boards, while Steponas Jokubauskas added 11 points and nine boards.

Thomas Reimann was the only scorer in double figures for Team Hamburg with 10 points. Bertram Wagner chipped in with nine.

M60

Mercury 70-55 Ranga

Ranga were handed their second loss in two days by Mercury, who won their opening game 70-55.

Grigorii Avdeev led all scorers with a magnificent performance, collecting 36 points for the winners. Andrei Snytsin was the only other scorer in double figures with 10 points.

For Ranga, Algirdas Linge had 14 points and five rebounds. Arunas Baltinas added 10 points.

Babailar 43-49 Vilniaus Statyba

Statyba Vilnius started their ESBA Championship campaign with a 49-43 victory against Babailar Ufa, who dropped to a 1-1 record following the loss.

Vitoldas Masalskis finished the game with 20 points for Statyba, with Arvydas Stasaitis chipping in with 10.

Aleksandr Trubach had a game-high 21 points for Babailar, but went only 5-of-18 from the three-point range. No other players reached double digits.

M65

Latvia 48-45 Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai

In a battle of two winless teams, Latvia got their first victory, defeating Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai 48-45 after a very close game. Latvia is now 1-1 in the standings, while Statyba dropped to 0-2.

Viktors Kaktins with 12 points was the only scorer in double figures for Latvia. Janis Vaivads added 8, with Egils Pans and Juris Redlihs chipping in with six points apiece.

For Statyba, Rimvydas Aukstuolis had a game-high 14 points and seven boards. Romas Ramanauskas scored 12 points and also grabbed seven rebounds, but the seven-man Lithuanians could not keep up with the Latvians who had a longer bench.

M70

Kazan 30-34 Sameko

All three M70+ teams are now tied with a 1-1 record after Samenko defeated Kazan 34-30 on Day 3 of the tournament.

Peeter Kokk had a game-high 14 points for the victors. Enn Uussaar added eight points and four rebounds.

Meanwhile, Rinard Urazmanov was the top scorer for Kazan with 12 points. Vladimir Krivorucheko collected eight points and six rebounds.

W45/50/55

Ladies Germany 38-31 Kamane

Ladies Germany got their win count rolling after improving to a 1-1 record in Group B with a 38-31 over older opponents Kamane, who are now 0-2.

Heike Schonau was the leading scorer for the German side with 12 points and six points to her name. Astrid Frisch scored seven points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the winners.

No players reached double figures for Kamane. Zita Kuzminskiene had the most with nine points, as Raimonda Skirpkiene chipped in with eight.

Kamane LT-Augma 52-44 Maximum

Five starters collected all 52 points for Kamane LT- Augma, as the Lithuanian side topped Maximum 52-44 in a Group A game. Kamane is now 1-0, while Maximum have lost both games.

Marina Shaulene had a game-best 18 points. Ina Revinskiene double-doubled with 14 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for Kamane.

For Maximum, Nadezda Bukharova had 14 points, with Ekaterina Loginova adding 12 points and 10 rebounds.

BC Svaja 48-50 Spartak

Spartak got another win under their belt, after edging out BC Svaja 50-48 at the end of the game. For Svaja, it was the first loss of the tournament. The team is now 1-1.

A well-rounded team effort was enough for Spartak to steal the win. Eight players left their mark on the game and only Larisa Finotentova was in double-digits with 13 points after going 4-of-5 from the three-point line.

Daina Motiejuniene had a double-double for Svaja, collecting 15 points and 12 rebounds. Ingrida Jonkute collected 12 points and grabbed six boards.
