Russian side Interwood managed to go out on top by a very slim margin, 68-66, and evened up the records with a win and a loss for each team. Vasilii Kulakov was the key to victory for the visitors, as he dropped 24 points and 10 rebounds against the Santander side.<\/p>\n<p>Veteranos Torrelavega added another victory to their books, as they destroyed Basketclub 94-59 to move their record to 2-0. Gerardo Sisniega was the lead scorer for the winning side, as he contributed 24 points to the victory.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian side UD recorded the biggest winning margin of the day, as they thrashed BC Sukhum 101-49, dominating all aspects of the game. Led by 22 points from Oleksii Poltoratskyi and 18 from Volodymir Gurtovyy, the Ukrainians got ahead early and never looked back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M50<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Russian derby between Mercury-Kazan and Great &amp; Co ended up in a victory for the Kazan side, as they reached for a 64-57 win. Sergey Shvydkyy was the notable player in the game, as he tallied team-high 18 points. Viacheslav Korolev had an unusual night on the court, scoring no points, yet pulling down 15 rebounds for the losing side.<\/p>\n<p>Kalush received their first win in thunderous fashion, as they held their own against Old Guns Germany, winning 77-48. The Ukrainians were helped by a tremendous performance from Mait Kabin, who dropped 29 points and was the day\u2018s highest scorer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M55<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two games were played in this age group and it helped both winning sides to improve to a 2-0 record. Garkalne defeated Aladushkin Group 72-60 after a blow-out win against Atskalunas the day before. Led by a phenomenal performance from Igors Lukis, the Latvians slowly built their lead up from scratch. The 57-year-old Center was dominant all-around, scoring 27 points and tearing down 20 boards.<\/p>\n<p>Russian Project, who barely escaped KFU Gorod Kazan on Sunday, had a much easier task at hand with Perlas. They played strong and finished in the driver\u2018s seat with a 64-45 lead. Igor Krylov recorded a big double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M60\/65\/70<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was an unusually low-scoring affair in our oldest age group, as CSKA Veterans won by 24 points despite just scoring 50 themselves. The game against Kazan ended 50-26 in favor of the Moscow side, as they tallied their first win. Victor Petrakov had game-highs in both scoring and rebounding, as he tallied a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>In the other game of the night, Babailar defeated Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai 60-38 behind Aleksandr Trubach and his 18-point, 13-rebound performance. This marks the second win for them, while the Vilnius side dropped to 0-2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>W40\/45<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Four teams stepped on the floor in the W40\/45 division, as BC Svaja defeated go4champ in a close affair, 43-38. The Lithuanian side was led by Tetiana Kozbar, who recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Spanish side AMIDE Basketball Friends managed to stay ahead against Seduvos Malunos and finished on top, 49-43, in their first game of the championship. Yolanda Rodriguez came close to a double-double herself, as she dropped 11 points and 9 rebounds. Silvia Merodio added another 11 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>W50\/55<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two more games were played in the other ladies\u2019 age group, as Kamane defeated Koshki 62-52, led by Daina Kliaugiene\u2019s 16 points off the bench. Three more players had double-digit scoring for Kamane. Oliga Macovichina was trigger-happy and ended up with 27 points.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Maximum, International easily got past Zeltenes Latvia and reached a 45-point margin at the very last minutes. They won 77-32 inspired by Tatjana Susnica Relic\u2019s 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
