{"id":355,"date":"2015-09-29T10:30:37","date_gmt":"2015-09-29T10:30:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/esba-basket.com\/porec-2016\/?p=355"},"modified":"2015-12-17T18:41:07","modified_gmt":"2015-12-17T18:41:07","slug":"registration-for-esba-championship-in-porec-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esba-basket.com\/porec-2016\/2015\/09\/29\/registration-for-esba-championship-in-porec-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration for ESBA Championship in Pore\u010d now open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The registration process for the European Championship for Seniors has begun and teams that want to participate in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> ESBA Championship in the Croatian seaside resort Pore\u010d can now do that at the official website of the event.<\/p>\n<p>The championship will take place on June 11-18 at the \u017datika Sport Center and the Veli Jo\u017ee Sports and Recreation Center. There are six planned age categories for women (W30, W35, W40, W45, W50, W55, W60) and eight for men \u2013 M40, M45, M50, M55, M60, M65, M70, M75.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Team registration:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/esba-basket.com\/porec-2016\/registration\/\">http:\/\/esba-basket.com\/porec-2016\/registration<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The main venue of the event, the \u017datika Sport Center was constructed for the 2009 World Men\u2019s Handball Championship and has a total seating capacity of around 3,700.<\/p>\n<p>Located in the beautiful Istria region of Croatia, Pore\u010d is an excellent destination not only because of its top-class facilities, but also excellent scenery, beautiful beaches and many other pleasures that the Adriatic Sea provides.<\/p>\n<p>Pore\u010d is almost 2,000 years old and is set around a harbor protected from the sea by the small island of Saint Nicholas. The town\u2019s population is around 20,000. It increases to around 100,000 during high season.<\/p>\n<p>Its major landmark is the 6th\u00a0century Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.
