Victor Petrakov had a massive double-double of 32 points and 22 rebounds, as CSKA Veterans eased past SK Jurmalas Sports 82-62. The Russian team ran away to a double-digit lead in the opening minutes and dominated the rest of the way, with Petrakov paving the path to the win.
Aleksei Petukhov added 16 points to the win having hit four three-pointers, while Evgeny Abramov finished the game with 10 points and 11 rebounds. For SK Jurmalas Sports, Aleksandrs Cuda had 28 points, as Dmitrijs Pagens finished the game with 19 points.
In the second game of the day, Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai won the Vilnius derby by taking down Sakret LT 60-51. After a close first half, the eventual winners broke away in the third period and never left any doubts about the outcome of the game.
Eduardas Kairys had a game-high 24 points, while Zenonas Bruze and Arvydas Stasaitis added 13 and 12 respectively for Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai. Romutis Grusauskas had a terrific game, scoring 21 points and grabbing 18 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for Sakret LT to escape defeat.
