Despite being the only team in the M65 category in the ESBA Promo Championship, CSKA Veterans will leave Liepaja without a single loss after defeating all three younger teams in the M60/65 competition. The team was given the first place in the M65 category by default.
The Russian side beat SK Jurmalas Sports 82-62, topped Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai 67-44 and edged eventual M60 champions Sakret LT 61-60.
Victor Petrakov was presented with the MVP award after averaging an amazing 23.7 points and 19.3 rebounds in the three games.
