The first awards of the ESBA Promo Championship in Liepaja were handed out on Sunday evening, as Eduard Leshukov, Algirdas Linge and Natalia Alekseeva triumphed in three different categories of the three-point shooting contest.
Eduard Leshukov from Basketclub became the best shooter in the M40/45 age category, collecting 12 points in the final to beat out Viktors Kulackovskis and Boris Karpuchin, who collected 11 and 9 points respectively.
In the M50+ category, no one could shoot as well as Algirdas Linge from Sakret LT, who took the crown with 10 points. Silvijus Zivatkauskas had 9 points, while Eduardas Kairys finished with 7.
The highest score in the finals came in the women category, as Natalia Alekseeva from The North-West Amateur Basketball League reached 14 points. Diana Bobrysheva was second with 8 points, as Zenfira Rogutina came third with 4 points.
