ESBA Promo Championship Has Plenty To Offer

There will be plenty of action in store both on and off the court in the ESBA Promo Championship in Liepaja, with a jam-packed program offering participants a wide plethora of activities during the week-long tournament in Latvia, starting on June 21.

Alongside competing for medals in different age groups, players will have a chance to test their accuracy in a three-point shoot-out, compete in a 3×3 basketball tournament and a select few will participate in an exhibition game against former Lithuanian stars.

You can find a detailed program here.

A large-part of the championship will take place outside the doors of the Liepaja Olympic Center, where all basketball activities will take place: the first ESBA player licenses will be issued, the ESBA Conference will be held, while Aleksas Stanislovaitis from the Lithuanian Sports University will read a lecture on Technologies of Physical Development for Mature Adults and Seniors.

Participants will also have an opportunity to relax and enjoy the Latvian seaside, taking part in a traditional Latvian celebration of Jani at the Red Sun Buffet on June 23 and having a day off from basketball for excursions on June 24.

A total of eighteen teams will participate in the ESBA Promo Championship, with participants representing four different countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Russia.

All participants will be able to use public transport in Liepaja for free and will receive a 25% discount for SPA in Liepaja’s Olympic Center.
