The M45<\/strong> <\/span>age group started off with Lithuanian teams Olimpas<\/strong> and Kauno LT United<\/strong> locking horns with the latter taking out the battle 73<\/strong>:59. 27 points from Darius Lukminas<\/a> showed the way for Kaunas. 16 points from Vaidas Venskus<\/a> couldn\u2019t tip the scales for Olimpas.<\/p>\n

In the second game Latvian team Venstpils<\/strong> were too good for Varenos SC Varbita<\/strong>s from Lithuania taking the win 73:65. Andris Ziemanis<\/a> chalked up 17 points but U\u0123is Lasmanis<\/a>\u2019 10 points and 14 rebounds was the difference between the teams. Egidijus Beinoravicius<\/a> contributed 12 points for the Lithuanians.<\/p>\n

In the M55<\/strong> <\/span>age group, Ikskile<\/strong> had all the answers against Simuna IVAX<\/strong> 57:32, sealing victory with a great 21:3 start in the first quarter. Coach Ziedonis Jansons<\/a> had a great game with 20 points for the Latvians, with Igors Lukis<\/a> assisting with 10 rebounds and 10 points. Hillar Neiland\u2019s<\/a> 13 points wasn\u2019t enough to get the Estonians over the line.<\/p>\n

The second game between Salilita<\/strong> and Overtime<\/strong> secured a victory for the former 66:48. 20 points from Siarhei Slaneuski<\/a> for the team from Belarus wasn\u2019t enough this time as Vladas Luksa<\/a> with 20 points and 10 rebounds showed the Lithuanians the way to their win.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
