Pakruojo Parketas emerged victors 71:55 in the first game between the Lithuanians in the M40 age group against Kauno Omega. Mindaugas Zukauskas with 15 rebounds and 13 points was unstoppable for the winners.

In the second game, Baltic Wood Trading beat Kauno Omega 75:66 in the final game of the day. 20 points and a massive 16 rebounds from Normunds Feierbergs showed who was commanding the key for the Latvians. Donatas Sliogeris added 15 points for the Lithuanians.

In the M60 age category, Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai got the upper hand against Czech Republic 62:54. Virginijus Mazonas’ 26 points couldn’t sway the game in favour of the Czech team, with Vytautas Ribinskas 20 points and 9 rebounds and 19 from Stanislovas Kaulius guaranteeing a Vilnius win.

Ikskile displayed fine form to take out the game 72:47 against Simuna IVAX in the second group game. Andris Calitis 37 points and 9 rebounds was probably the best display of the day for the winning Latvians. Andrus Toom’s 22 points made no difference for the Estonians in the final wrap up.

In the M65 age category, Tukums recorded a win 49:42 over Sameko with Janis Brunevics’ 19 points and Aivars Kapacs’ 13 points taking the Latvians all the way. Viktor Viktorov contributed 16 points for the Estonians.

Vilniaus Statybos Senjorai beat Zalgiris-Juta quite convincingly 53:34 and in the local Lithuanian derby. Rimvydas Aukstuolis added 12 points with Vilnius players contributing points fairly evenly. Narvydas Cekaitis’ 12 points was not enough to get Zalgiris over the line this time.
