{"id":1,"date":"2015-08-05T12:29:16","date_gmt":"2015-08-05T12:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/esba-basket.com\/baltic-cup-2015\/?p=1"},"modified":"2015-08-08T06:45:11","modified_gmt":"2015-08-08T06:45:11","slug":"hello-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esba-basket.com\/baltic-cup-2015\/2015\/08\/05\/hello-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to Baltic Cup!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>The Baltic Cup<\/strong><\/span> is a new project created by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/estomaxibasket\" target=\"_blank\">NGO Esto Maxibasket <\/a>(Estonia), <a href=\"http:\/\/maxibasket.lv\/\" target=\"_blank\">BK \u201cVecmeistari\u201d<\/a> (Latvia) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lkvlyga.lt\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lithuania Veterans Basketball League<\/a> (Lithuania) and <a href=\"http:\/\/esba-basket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">European Seniors Basketball Association<\/a> (ESBA). It is a competition of the best seniors\u2019 basketball teams from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in different age and gender categories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three countries will rotate in hosting the championship, with the organizing country determining the age groups, time, location and system of play. Additional participating countries are also decided by the organizer of the cup.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>The Baltic Cup <\/strong><\/span>is a tournament between the winning teams of Estonia\u2019s, Latvia\u2019s and Lithuania\u2019s basketball championships, where the winners of Baltic cup in different age groups and in men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams will emerge. The rights to participate in Baltic Cup belong to Champions of the Championships of the corresponding countries in the regular\u00a0season. If a champion waives its rights to participate, the vice-champion takes over the rights. Two players from another teams could be added in the participant team\u2019s roster.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first Baltic Cup 2015 will be held in Estonia at the P\u00e4rnu Sports Hall (Riia HWY 129, P\u00e4rnu) on 11-12 September 2015.
