The PLUSEVENT<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>three-point contest is going to be one of the main events of the ESBA Championship and participants in all age categories have been lining up to take part in large numbers. Thus, due to a large number of contestants, there have been some rule changes to the three-point contest.<\/p>\n

In order to fit into time limitations of the event, in qualification the players will shoot five racks of FOUR <\/strong><\/span>balls, with the last ball in each rack counting double for two points. The time limit has been adjusted accordingly \u2014 contestants will have one minute to complete all five racks. In 65+ age category, the time limit will be 1 minute and 15 seconds.<\/p>\n

After the first\u00a0round,\u00a0three best shooters in each category will advance to the final. In case of a tie, a 30-second tiebreaker will be held between players with an equal amount of points.<\/p>\n

During the final, players will have 1 minute and 20 seconds<\/strong> to complete five racks of five balls<\/strong><\/span><\/span>, with the exception of the M65<\/strong> category. Participants in this category will have 1 minute and 30 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
