Just one day has passed since we finished the ESBA Championship in Altea and Calpe. There were a total of 16 age categories with 63 teams participating.

W50\/55\/60<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n W60 <\/b>Champions –\u00a0Zeltenes, Latvia<\/b><\/p>\n W55<\/strong>\u00a0Champions –\u00a0Estonia<\/strong><\/p>\n W50<\/strong>\u00a0Champions –\u00a0BC Svaja<\/strong><\/p>\n BC Svaja <\/strong>won all 4 games in Altea\u201919 championship with average 24.25 difference. Even in the W50 final Lithuanians took an easy win and deserve to celebrate their glory. MVP<\/span> <\/strong>in W60 – Daiga Jansone<\/a> W40\/45<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n W45<\/strong>\u00a0Champions –\u00a0Seduvos Malunas<\/strong><\/p>\n W40<\/strong>\u00a0Champions –\u00a0Nova Arena<\/strong><\/p>\n W40\/45 women age group contains 6 teams and 2 champions were announce after 7 days of tournament. More intrigue was in W45 final where Lithuanians won the last game by only 4 points margin \u2013 45:41 <\/strong>agains Ladies\u2019 Legion. <\/strong>It was the second battle between these teams and Lithuania was a better team in both games. Renata Radisaukaite <\/strong>with 13 points and Loreta Stanciauskiene <\/strong>with 10 points were the best players in the team.<\/p>\n MVP<\/span> <\/strong>in W45 – Akvile Katiliene<\/a> W30\/35<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n W35<\/strong>\u00a0Champions –\u00a0POL Dream team<\/strong><\/p>\n W30<\/strong>\u00a0Champions –\u00a0Ladies\u2019 Legion<\/strong><\/p>\n Poland team POL Dream team <\/strong>approved their advantage and won final game 55:45 <\/strong>against Kekava. <\/strong>The key moment in final was 2nd<\/sup> quarter where Poles ran away by double digits. Ilona Jasnowska <\/strong>was a star in winner side by scoring 19.8 points in average.<\/p>\n Ladies\u2019 Legion <\/strong>was a step above from all other teams in their age group. Otherwise in the final game Ukrainians must played at their best \u2013 after 3rd<\/sup> quarter difference against Favorites LT <\/strong>was only 3 points but in the last quarter Ladies\u2019 Legion <\/strong>showed their skills and won the game 56:42.<\/strong><\/p>\n 4 players in champions squad showed great performance by having double digits in efficiency graph \u2013 Liudmyla Liubarska, Liudmyla Huzenko, Yana Barzakova, Kateryna Viznytsia.<\/strong><\/p>\n MVP<\/strong> <\/span>in W35 –\u00a0Ilona Jasnowska<\/a> M75<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Champions \u2013 Kazan<\/strong><\/p>\n In the oldest age group we can found the biggest intrigue. Two teams \u2013 Kazan <\/strong>and Tallinn <\/strong>were fighting in two tight games and the winners were announced only by one point difference. In the first game Tallinn <\/strong>was a better side by 3 points, but in the second game Kazan <\/strong>won by 4 point and took the 1st<\/sup> place in this age group. Congratulation!<\/p>\n Rinard Urazmanov <\/strong>was the best player in Kazan <\/strong>\u00a0with 12.8 points in average.<\/p>\n MVP<\/span> <\/strong>in M75 –\u00a0Rinard Urazmanov<\/a><\/p>\n M70<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Champions \u2013 Veteran Ukraine<\/strong><\/p>\n 3 teams were participating in this age group and Veteran Ukraine\u00a0<\/strong>was a way better team by winning all 4 games. Volodymyr Martynov <\/strong>with 9.3 points and Mykola Bychkov <\/strong>with 9 points in average were the top scorers in the team.<\/p>\n MVP<\/strong> <\/span>in M70 –\u00a0Volodymyr Martynov<\/a><\/p>\n M65<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Champions \u2013 Mercury<\/strong><\/p>\n 5 teams were participating in age group and the winners were revealed only in the last game after battle between Mercury <\/strong>and SLO 50+ <\/strong>teams. Before this game, both teams had 3 wins in their accounts. But after the last match happier side was Mercury. <\/strong>Russians won the match 59<\/strong>:31.<\/strong><\/p>\n Unstoppable in this tournament was Andrei Snytsin <\/strong>with 20.5 points in his account.<\/p>\n MVP<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>in M65 –\u00a0\u00a0Andrei Snytsin<\/a><\/p>\n M60<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Champions \u2013 AIKEA Portoro<\/strong>\u017e<\/strong><\/p>\n AIKEA Portoro<\/strong>\u017e <\/strong>raised the trophy in the group M60 as they beat BGG Perlas 63:60 <\/strong>in the final game. Mitja Muha <\/strong>and Stane Breznik <\/strong>scored 15 points each. Mindaugas Luko<\/strong>\u0161ius <\/strong>with 24 points was the best player for Lithuanians.<\/p>\n VKK Zagreb <\/strong>grabbed the bronze after beating\u00a0 Gartkalne 74:47.<\/strong><\/p>\n MVP<\/span> <\/strong>in M60 –\u00a0Mindaugas Lukosius<\/a><\/p>\n M55<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Champions \u2013 Slovenija 55 Sportis<\/strong><\/p>\n The age group where the most teams participated \u2013 12! Teams were divided into 4 groups. All 4 groups winners successfully qualified into semifinals but on the latest stage Slovenija 55 Sportis <\/strong>was far away a better team than others. Slovenians won semifinal by 17 and the final game by 22 points and grabbed the gold. Veteran Basket <\/strong>took the silver and Omega Kaunas <\/strong>was celebrating the bronze medals.<\/p>\n The most efficiency in this group was Arvydas Venclovas <\/strong>with 25 efficiency points in average. The champion Slavko Kotnik <\/strong>had 23.8 efficiency.<\/p>\n MVP in M55 –\u00a0Slavko Kotnik<\/a><\/p>\n M50<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n M50 Champions \u2013 Mercury-Kazan<\/strong><\/p>\n Mercury-Kazan <\/strong>recovered after terrible defeat in group stage 34:105 <\/strong>and in the final showed their best side. Mercury-Kazan <\/strong>won the final game 72:66 <\/strong>agains Kazan <\/strong>and reached sweet revenge at the best time. Alexander Ustinov <\/strong>was the top scorer with 18 points in gold medal game.<\/p>\n Basketclub <\/strong>grabbed the bronze medal after win 73:52 <\/strong>against Tonus.<\/strong><\/p>\n MVP<\/strong> <\/span>in M50 –\u00a0Vladlen Raiskii<\/a><\/p>\n M45<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Champions \u2013 Baltic Interwood<\/strong><\/p>\n Baltic Interwood <\/strong>after amazing performance in the second half in the final grabbed the gold. After 2 quarters, Veteran Basket Kiev <\/strong>was in the lead by 12 points, but after the break, Russians showed their skills and dominant in the court. Final result \u2013 56:49. Sergiy Tsymbal <\/strong>scored 18 points.<\/p>\n Lithuanians Brazylija \u2013 Home resort LT <\/strong>took a bronze after easy win 88:64 <\/strong>in third place match against Donbass.<\/strong><\/p>\n MVP<\/span> <\/strong>in M45 –\u00a0Sergiy Tsymbal<\/a><\/p>\n M40<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Champions \u2013 EspUA<\/strong><\/p>\n United team from two countries \u2013 Spain and Ukraine, showed a great team chemistry in the tournament and grabbed the gold after beating 71:62 LesoRub <\/strong>in the final. 5 players for united team scored double digit in the final and it was a key for this team in the whole championship.<\/p>\n Dnipro <\/strong>took the bronze after winning 66:36 <\/strong>in the last game.<\/p>\n The most efficiency player was Anatolii Dubniuk <\/strong>from Dnipro <\/strong>team with 21 in average in this age group.<\/p>\n
\nLoreta Berukstiene <\/strong>and Daiva Jodekaite <\/strong>with almost 12 points average were the top scorers in the team.
\nOn another age group we can congratulate Estonia <\/strong>team which won final game 40:36 <\/strong>against Baroneses. <\/strong>Estonians can be thankful for Katrin Aava <\/strong>who scored 17 points in the final game and helped her team to reach the trophy.<\/p>\n

\nNova Arena <\/strong>did not have any problems in any game and won the trophy easily. Final game ended by 31 difference and it is the best proof how good this team is. The best player in the team Natalia Rumiantseva <\/strong>with 18 points and 9.7 rebounds in average.<\/p>\n
