Patvanka come from behind to win M45 trophy

A big fourth-quarter run saw Patvanka erase the deficit in the final of the M45 age category and snatch the trophy out of the hands of Project 44. The Lithuanian side was trailing by six points heading into the final period, but won the last quarter convincingly to claim a 64-60 victory.

Mindaugas Lukosius led the team in scoring with 22 points, Arvydas Venclovas added 18 points and seven rebounds, while Ramunas Juska had another good all-around performance with 15 points, seven reounds and three assists.

Juska was named the MVP of the M45 age category.

For the losing side, Alexander Kuznetsov had 17 points, while Sergey Ivanov had 16 points, 16 rebounds and six assists.

Meanwhile, Basketclub won bronze after taking down Carpathian Bears 70-56 in the third-place game earlier in the day. Andrey Kadochnikov had 27 points and seven rebounds in the win.
