During the ESBA Promo Championship in Liepaja, Aleksas Stanislovaitis, the Vice-Rector of Sport and Infrastructure at Lithuanian Sports University will give a lecture called “Technologies of Physical Development for Mature Adults and Seniors”.
Stanislovaitis Aleksas (19.04.1963, Joniškėlis, Pasvalys reg.) – the coach of track-and-field athletics, sports scientist, the Vice-Rector for Sport at LSU. The sports coach certified in national coaching. Honoured Lithuanian Worker in Sports (2010). Habil. Doctor (biomedicine science).
Graduated from the Lithuanian State Institute of Physical Education (LSIPE) (now – LSU) in 1985. The record holder of indoor 4 × 200 m relay running. Coaches: E. Suveizdis (the first), V. Butkus. The coach of track-and-field athletics at the republic-level olympic reserve sport school “Nemunas“(1985—89), Kaunas sport school “Gaja“ in 1989—96, Kaunas sport school “Viltis“ from 1996, the coach of physical preparedness in Kaunas football club “Inkaras“ in 1997—99). Has been working at LAPE from 1992: The head of the Department of Track-and-Field Athletics in 1992—93 and 1998—2008 senior assistant (1993—94), associated professor (2006), the head of the Department of Individual Sports from 2008, professor (2010).
